Paulius Kilbauskas

Paulius Kilbauskas is one of Lithuania’s most unique and acclaimed composers, producers and multi-instrumentalists and has been at the forefront of Lithuanian music for 25 years. Through collaborations and solo projects, Paulius has recently been pushing the boundaries of lm composition with a focus on electronic textures. Paulius’ most recent solo record, Elements, emerged when he moved to Bali for a year. Although the move was not undertaken with an album in mind, Paulius found himself among a community of skilled Gamelan musicians. A strong musical connection was formed and the tracks that make up Elements found an initial form. Through these recording sessions, Paulius’ electronic compositions took on new characteristics, tones and timbres.
