Ora the Molecule

Ora The Molecule is a Norwegian producer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and DJ. She's been nominated as Norway's very own queen of disco. With Cerrone and Giorgio Moroder as her biggest inspirations, she creates Italo-disco and late 70s-inspired club music from a cabin deep in the woods of Norway. When she is not sitting in the studio, Ora is seen in the clubs as a DJ. There she has, among other things, shared decks with Maya Jane Cole and Tod Terje and her music has been remixed by Moon Boots, Gillian Gilbert from New Order, and Anika, to name a few. She has also toured as a warm-up for Poolside and Røyksopp. The unique combination of intergalactic electronica seasoned with her serious and surreal narrator's voice has given Ora a musical distinctiveness.
