Jay de Miceli founded Nutekk Labs in1995 from his home onthe Jersey Shore. T his story began when he was working atCafe Bar in Long Branch, when he stepped into the DJ booth- it was clear that the booth was the place to be. After honinghis skills and building his record collection, he decided tostep it up a bit and did what all NJ kids dream of... he movedinto Manhattan.Setting up his studio inside his East Harlem apartment in thelate 1990's he made friends quickly in the neighborhood. Noone minded the banging beats until the wee- hours of themorning back then. Somewhere on Second Ave he met T heSpecialist, and together they created hits that would beheard around the world, topping international charts, likeKiss Radio Taiwan and breaking into the
