Jay de Miceli founded Nutekk Labs in1995 from his home onthe Jersey Shore. T his story began when he was working atCafe Bar in Long Branch, when he stepped into the DJ booth- it was clear that the booth was the place to be. After honinghis skills and building his record collection, he decided tostep it up a bit and did what all NJ kids dream of... he movedinto Manhattan.Setting up his studio inside his East Harlem apartment in thelate 1990's he made friends quickly in the neighborhood. Noone minded the banging beats until the wee- hours of themorning back then. Somewhere on Second Ave he met T heSpecialist, and together they created hits that would beheard around the world, topping international charts, likeKiss Radio Taiwan and breaking into the Top 40. NutekkLabs productions have also appeared on numerous dancecompilations throughout the world - including EMI's ClubbersGuide Series. NY was great, but quickly the fun and freedomwere being overshadowed by bigger problems facing thecity - so Jay moved South.Nutekk Labs found new headquarters in South Beach. It wasMarch when Jay arrived and most people know what thatmeans in Miami...Winter Music Conference. Big parties thatnever end...until the conference is over! When that partygoes almost everyone and everything goes with it. Summerin South Beach is hot and quiet, so Jay got to work findingthe prime places to DJ. He did a few guest spots beforelanding a couple of residencies, a very fun, early eveningpool party at the famous Catalina Hotel and a prime Fridaynight weekly inside the lounge at Cafeteria on Lincoln Road- (equipt with phazon). After four wonderful seasons inMiami Beach Jay was headed back to the Jersey Shorewhere it all began.Jay built his studio (with the help of a very good friend andawesome builder Luis Lugo) next to his home, and wastedno time with taking on new endeavors. Jay began workingwith some of the most influential synth manufacturers in theworld. He has completed numerous Sound Design Projectswith Waldorf over the past five years and has most recentlyhad the honor of working very closely with Wolfgang Palm, designing programs for the PPG Wavegenerator andWavemapper.Jay de Miceli brings an uplifting vibe to any project he isinvolved in, and is always working on a new project. Jaycontinues to Produce music as Nutekk Labs and is scheduled to release three new tracks on ConspiracyHouse in March 2013. You can hear his latest mix eachmonth on Traxerit 60, "... supplied for aural enhancement assixty minutes of fast acting downloadable AuralAntidoldrumine, delivering effective relief from negativevibes."If you would like to reach out to Jay:Booking inquiries contact: mattimay@gmail.comRemix, Licensing contact:conspiracyhouse@gmail.comSound Design contact: nutekk@gmail.comFacebook: http://www.facebook.com/nutekk.labsTwitter: @traxerit60
