Gently you open your eyes. In this labyrinthine jungle that you’re in you see nothing but a gigantic canopy of leaves above you and tangled, dark green lianas. Once again, you fall into a trance and suddenly the sounds of Montezuma penetrate deep into your ears and seduce you into a world of totally unique sonic spheres.
Montezuma is more than just an idea. Montezuma takes you on a musical journey. Acoustic protagonists such as an explosive West-African djembé, a dancing saxophone or a massive didgeridoo interact with each other and combine with dynamic techno and electrifying synthesizers to create a unique techno style. Behind Montezuma is Merten Schicht (19). Only because of his fine feeling for Sounddesign and technical finesse the tracks are able to enter the red carpet on various streaming platforms. Adam Boddien (19) and Fabian Mono (19) complement the musical component. Adam as a virtuoso saxophonist and Mono with his guitar give Montezuma the necessary spice. Montezuma is also part of the Parides Collective and benefits from the support of crew members and friends. As mentioned, Montezuma is more than an idea or an artist; it's a collective creation...
Suddenly you wake up from the trance again. A blue butterfly has appeared on your hand as you hear the Oriental track humming. The wings of the butterfly move to the beat. And all of a sudden the graceful creature rises and escapes into the depths of the jungle.
What remains? Montezuma.
