Having his roots deep in industrial techno and heavier styles of music one would expect there is no room for beauty. While this is true Randy Meinderts always connected the harsh, deep stomping undergound with the openness of orchestra, lush pads and intrigueing sounddesign. With Mindarts this concept is brought to a new phase where the roles are reversed, resulting in a more refined, polished sound. Don’t be fooled though: like the projects before Mindarts is leaning heavily on modular synthesizers, crazy outboard gear and oldskool drumcomputers. Dancefloors will have their structural integrity tested.
