With a mother from Salford and father from Madrid, Miguel’s musical influences have always been varied. It all began at the tender age of 8 years old, when his older brother spun hip-hop, soul, acid and electro breaks on his shiny new SL1200’s. After that, Miguel couldn’t resist and went to Spin-Inn with his brother to buy some slates. He started DJing in 1990 at the age of 13, at garage parties and local disco’s spinning everything from the underground Chicago classics of Frankie Knuckles, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Adonis and Tyree Cooper to the more chart bound tracks of Deelite, Chad Jackson and Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam.
