kraftwitch

kraftwitch (John Moletress) is a Philadelphia-based artist, music producer, DJ + founder of Three Wands Records. Their debut EP Field Notes Vol. 1 was released December 2023. kraftwitch returned to music at the start of the pandemic, designing, coding and constructing digital instruments from crude and found objects. Their weekly livestreams playing these pieces over the next two years earned them a following on social media. Before 2020, kraftwitch performed as John Moletress, whose performance art works toured throughout the US and UK, working with such artists as Ron Athey and Sheree Rose. Currently, kraftwitch has a monthly radio show with Great Circles label called The Tarot Mixtapes.
