Kameek

Born and raised in West London, the accompanying sounds of pirate radio had a transformative impact on Joel Marlow's music. Involved in Grime as the scene started to pick up pace in 2006, Joel spent time behind the mic, mixing desk and drums. He soon turned his hand to producing, with his music featured on Rinse FM amongst other stations. Time spent at Red Bull Studios and Mute Records, saw Joel hone his technical skills, working with a wide array of diverse artists. Joel has produced music spanning multiple genres. In 2019, he decided to create the project 'Kameek'. Paying attention to the sounds that he grew up listening to, Kameek's music has influences from Garage to Grime and Soulful.
