JP Backhouse

JP Backhouse was born and raised on the beautiful multicultural Island of Curacao. The ideal place to absorb many musical influences, where Caribbean and Latin rhythms are by far the most popular. It wasn't until the age of 15 that he found his passion in music production. After moving to the Netherlands, he fell in love with electronic dance music. He took his time to master the craft of DJ and production and had a great run in which he played at many prestigious festivals and venues across Europe including Defqon 1 and the Heineken Music hall in Amsterdam as Jim Justice. His tracks have been featured on many CD compilations. Still he felt that something was missing in his sound: his Caribbean roots. A new alias was born in
