Joanna Åström

Hailing from Sweden but now based in East London, Joanna Åström sophisticatedly occupies several artistic disciplines as a producer, DJ and sound engineer. Jo's music is an eclectic merge of jazz, disco, house and techno inspired by her multi-faceted creative lifestyle dj-ing most evenings whilst by day, inhabiting The Rattle studio space as a studio engineer. Having grown up in Sweden, playing saxophone in the school orchestra to now living in East London, regularly DJ-ing for the likes of Ministry of Sound, The Cause, Basing House, White Post, Red Gallery, The Coral Room, Jo has always been inspired by the musical opportunity within electronic music.
