Jean Motell

Jean Motell born 1 July 1979, is a French artist whose lo-fi activist work was affiliated to pioneers like Yael Kanarek. His artistic work is influenced by Piero Manzoni, Giacomo Leopardi, Erik Satie & Jean-Edern Hallier. He's also the founder of Scanner Magazine, a visual biannual magazine. Jean Motell is also known as a party invader, a gatecrasher. He is not part of fashion world, but he sneaks in fashion parties in Paris & London. Just to meet people and use his Kodak disposable camera. He has worked as a street vendor, construction worker, trash metal guitarist, electroclash DJ, fashion columnist & people reporter, auto-tuned rapper & record producer, employee in a civil aircraft manufacturing company, jury member and even low cost wine critic. His music builds unconventional bridges.
