Inspired by DiY Soundsystem, James formed a collective and started DJing and promoting in 1999. Graduating from student nights in pubs, to putting on events in clubs and boats in Manchester and London, the next stop was spots in Spain, Mexico and Norway over the next 19 years.Aspirations to be a producer were never far beneath the surface, but it took time.
