High Fruit

Patrick Balthrop, also known by the stage name High Fruit, is an electronic musician and sound designer. His debut EP, Kumar, received over half a million streams in the first four months of its release and was added to legendary radio station KEXP’s rotation. In his dynamic live act, he plays his synthesizers, drum machines, and layers vocals live, building polymetric and polyrhythmic grooves without the aid of DJ equipment. Patrick has earned accolades from the BAFTAs, the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, and the Game Audio Network Guild for his sound design and audio direction. His sound design work has exhibited at the Smithsonian Museum. High Fruit's compositions have graced games by industry giants such as Take-Two Interactive, Annapurna Interactive, and MTV Games.
