Brooklyn’s Honeywax Records unveils the latest single fromGolden Sails, the project of former Eighteenth Street Loungeresident Michael Hirst. Hirst’s background as guitarist forDC psyche-rock staples (T he Sounds Of) Kaleidoscope ranalongside his DJ residency and explorations into electronicmusic production. Soon Hirst was producing on his own asGolden Sails, combining elements of boogie, deep house,and cosmic disco to build dance floor tunes with anemphasis on the psychedelic aspect he honed with hisaforementioned band.
