Forty5 began his music career in 2004 when he purchased his first set of turntables and a cheap battle mixer. After thousands of hours of practice and thousands of dollars spent on vinyl, Forty5 began playing the local clubs of St. Louis. Shortly after music production became an interest. Beginning with Sony Acid Pro and finally settling on Reason, Forty5's production career began. Thanks to the early days of Myspace, Forty5 began to collaborate with other DJ's and EDM producers. St. Louis's own DJ Nitro gave Forty5 a big boost by introducing him to new production methods as well as his first record label, Deeplife. After several years with Deeplife, Forty5 parted ways with the company in 2012. Now a remixer for Worldwide Exclusive Records, Forty5 creates a wide variety of EDM. Progressive house, Tech House, Deep House, Breaks, and Chilled Electronica.
