Get introduced to Emma Bates, for sure one of the best kept secrets in Swedish electronica. Something that we hope will change this year as she signs to Playground Music sublabel Uniform Beat and with a bunch of amazing singles line up for release. Emma’s been involved with music since an early age doing a lot of different projects. Amongst others she ́s released two albums and a few singles under the name of Otur and also worked other artists, including Paper Hearts, on her own label Pepperbox. She started of doing her own unique blend of indie/pop and electronica but has slowly moved towards a more straight-forward dance floor type of sounds that ́s about to take floors and charts by storm worldwide. It ́s time to release music under her own name and first up is her cover of the classic Genesis single “Tonight Tonight Tonight” from the 80 ́s turned into a hands-up-in-the-air type of anthem for the big clubs! With remixes from Bause, Smith & Thell, Southside House Collective, Snow Job, Materikaa and Kings of the Universe...She also had a track on the current MARCH TO A UNIFORM BEAT VOL.01 compilation and she ́s about to get ready to release her second single featuring the vocals of Norwegians electro/pop artist Hanne Kolstoe this early fall...
