eL was born in New Jersey, USA & raised in NYC to Haitian immigrants. Singing and preaching in church from the age of 4, he grew to love the stage and all that can take place there, participating & performing in everything from talent shows to demonstrations to plays.As a child & always the self-expresser, eL wrote songs, poetry and even short stories to continuously enthrall family and friends.Having a few TV show and film appearances from the U.S. to Germany(Japanese documentary included) under his belt; eLsang as the frontman of a popular and successful Ska/Reggae band four years long before venturing off onhis own to delve into every genre of music that would feed his creative appetite.
