Why doesn’t the real world live up to the world of dreams? How can we know what we want in the face of the bizarre distortions of modern society? Dream Prescription drives headlong into these questions with electronic music for the future. Dream Prescription is a New York City band that draws on post-punk, new wave and synthpop to forge a unique electronic rock sound. Formed as a duo in 2020, Dream Prescription took bold steps forward in their sound and vision in 2023-2024 as they expanded their live act to a full band, and their subsequent shows have been met with enthusiastic responses.
