1 - BORN in 1984 Growing up at Thohoyandou Block F (In Venda, Limpopo, South Africa) in the early 90s nIpRo remembers getting exposed to music as his dad use to make him change/flip LPs from side A to B & vice versa whenever he plays them at the house. Amongst other artists from the 80s, in his dad's LP collection there was music from Ten City, Mix Masters, Brenda Fassie, Splash, Micheal Jackson, Lucky Dube, Phil Collins e.t.c which more or less shaped the way he understood music, few years after that nIpRo remembers often calling Radio Thohoyandou to choose Arthur Mafokate's Windy Windy on a show called DINANGELENI (Listeners choice) every chance he got because he didnt or couldnt own the cassette.
