DJ Hammy

DJ Hammy has been around the Irish dance music scene since 1998, when he first picked up a set of Kam decks, initially playing vinyl only. The gigs started flowing in local Cork pubs, clubs and pirate radio stations soon after, including slots on the legendary Kiss Fm and Radio Friendly. In the 00's, Hammy gained notoriety for his mashups - using Acid Pro and other programs to put together tracks and edits which were very popular on the dancefloors. After retiring from gigging in 2006, Hammy took a sabbatical from the scene, but did set up legacy Youtube and Soundcloud channels which preserved some of his 00's work.
