Channan Hanif

Channan Hanif is a British-Pakistani music producer, songwriter, vocalist, DJ and actor. His early musical influences, ranging from trap, cloud rap and ambient to industrial rock, art pop and IDM, have all helped develop his approach to writing electronic music. Often using drums and melodies inspired by his South-Asian heritage, Channan lays deep rhythmic foundations under psychedelic synth-lines and ethereal vocals to create a unique melancholy while maintaining the power and relentless attitude of techno music. This results in a sound that is equal parts blissful and commanding - futuristic, yet viscerally primal.
