Calm Stiege

Former Resident Advisor and Point Blank Scholarship winner Calm Stiege is DJ and producer specialising in British Dance and Bass genres such as Grime, Garage and UK funky. Over the last 2 years, the Lewisham native has also drawn a lot of inspiration from many global club scenes, especially those with a focus on percussion and syncopation. Calm Stiege has been honing his craft since releasing his first official E.P titled ‘Dumb Dumb’ with the Dancing Family label. The project received support from esteemed selectors such as Jyoty, Bluetoof and Nancy June. His E.P ‘Dance Classes’ is the first release on his label Funky Adjacent, created in order to push forward modern takes on UK funky while exploring it’s synergy with dance music across the globe.
