Blood Type

Leeds-based producer and DJ Blood Type grew up in Cumbria, immersed in dance music from an early age. He started DJing at local youth clubs and nightclubs before turning his hand to production at just 12 years old. This passion quickly turned into drive, leading him to run multiple events and take on production and engineering work for other artists. Fast forward to 2025, and with over 15 years of studio experience - including three years as part of Mac & Ward - Blood Type is more ready and driven than ever to express himself fully with his own project. Described as "emotional connection that sees no boundaries or genre," the Blood Type sound is built on two non-negotiable foundations: it must be club-ready and deeply loved by the artist
