Growing up in Wiesbaden, Germany, he made his first musical steps as a DJ heavily inspired by underground hip hop of the late 90s and early 2000s. After studying music in Mannheim, he moved to Berlin in 2010. Philipp has worked as a touring musician, founding member, songwriter, and producer for several German bands and projects, including Abby, Gheist, and Feeling Valencia. With Abby, he performed on international stages from Berlin to Reykjavik, including notable festivals such as Iceland Airwaves, SXSW, Melt Festival, and Glastonbury. With Gheist, Philipp played regular shows at Berlin's Watergate Club and became part of Solomun’s Diynamic Music collective.
