Ancient Alias

Ancient Alias is the DJ and Producer alias of South African-born Fabian Goodwin. He is a member of the Shanghai-based XIA sound collective (downtempo, chill, dub, progressive, tribal, ethnohouse, afro-house, melodic techno/house), a GoaProductions label DJ (Psytrance), and label artist/producer with Shanghai-based TaiJi Records. Whether curating a DJ set, or producing his own soundscapes, he describes his style as fluid, taking inspiration from many different genres, and exploring music with strong atmospheric story-telling qualities.
