9THWAVE

Alexander, known by his stage name 9THWAVE, began his musical journey in school, playing bass guitar in a band. His interest in electronic music was sparked in 2010 when he first opened a DAW, inspired by artists like Skrillex and the drum and bass genre. However, work and family took precedence, and music had to wait. He returned to music during the pandemic, exploring various genres and techniques. Since 2022, Alexander has focused on drum and bass, studying at Neuropunk Academy under the guidance of Paperclip. His tracks have been featured in several VA compilations, and he recently completed an EP on Paperfunk Recordings. 9THWAVE draws inspiration from projects like Gydra, Paperclip, Merikan, Pythius, BurrOak, and PRDK. His primary goal is to continue creating music he truly enjoys.
