Our buddy Sutter Cane brings some unorthodox warfare to Phobiq, and the mayhem starts right away with "Thorium", where an off-kilter groove sets the manic tone and percussive edits pierce the midnight air. Menacing synths slowly surface and turn everything into a roaring maelstrom.
Electric Rescue straightens things out a bit and injects melodies out of nowhere that evolve into a barrage of stabs, totally turning the tables on us. On the closing "Chemtrails", Sutter crunches and grinds while persistent electronics rage over a bubbling rhythm section, overflowing with sub bass.
