Perc Trax is proud to unveil its first new artist of 2009 in the shape of Andre Ruello aka Material Object. His sound is a dense, grooving brand of techno that evolves and morphs as waves of effects and synths wash over the listener, all riding upon tough jerking grooves that nod to classic Speedy J, Luke Slater and Adam Beyer. This is Andre's 2nd release after his well-received 'Consumer Electronics' 12" on Karateklub last year. For the remix Perc pulls in one of his Drumcode labelmates, Kyle Geiger. Since bursting onto the global techno scene with his 'Identity Crisis' and 'Under Pressure' releases on Drumcode in 2008 Kyle's profile has grown and grown. A favourite producer of Adam Beyer, Francois K, Joey Beltram, Marco Bailey and many more he now gigs around the world on a regular basis and has recently turned in stunning remixes for Harthouse, Droid Recordings, MB Elektronics and Hej. This remix for Perc Trax sees him expand his sound to new limits as Material Object's soundscapes are pushed along by a classic Geiger groove.
