Caliber mainstay Kursa continues his conquest of bass music with the "SDBN" EP. The producer has continually shown his versatility as a producer, absolutely killing it in every style he toys with, and releasing on a gamut of labels throughout the scene. Today he brings us two tracks - 'It's Just A Glitch' and 'SDBN'. Kursa delivers yet another innovative neuro-hop cut in 'It's Just A Glitch' - featuring a airy piano melody, chopped to pieces and pleasingly restrained, weaving in and out of focus amidst fierce drum patterns and an aggressive neuro bassline. Always raising the bar, Kursa pushes forward throughout the track as the stutters and edits intensify and newer, stranger elements enter the mix. 'SDBN' merges elements of breakbeat and dubstep to create a 140bpm mutant without a name. As per norm with Kursa, a closer look reveals a level of detail and experimentation normally only found in breakcore and experimental music. Kursa wraps up the tune with a tempo-switch, taking things full circle back to the neuro/glitch hop frameworkthe icing on the cake. Another immense release from the Kursa.
