Ram is 100! By now most of you will be aware that one of the drum & bass scene’s longest serving, and most respected, outlets has reached the grand old age of 100. However, retirement is the last thing on their minds at Ram HQ. Instead they have compiled an incredible celebratory LP containing 14 massive tracks set to be released digitally alongside the RAMM100 vinyl EP. Founded in 1992 with the release of Andy C’s ‘Sour Mash’ EP, Ram has continually led the way releasing the biggest, the best and the most memorable drum & bass classics. Following his debut EP Andy teamed up with the legendary Ant Miles to craft 1993’s seminal game-changing anthem ‘Valley Of The Shadows’ under the name Origin Unknown. In 1996 Shimon joined the fold teaming up with Andy for ‘Quest’ and ‘Nightflight’, two more defining moments in the Ram catalogue. In 1998, the mighty Moving Fusion unleashed yet another seminal Ram track, the incredible anthem ‘Turbulence’ while the following year Ram Trilogy (Andy C, Shimon and Ant Miles) created their mind-bending drum & bass debut long player ‘Molten Beats’, an album that shook the foundations of the genre and changed the face of the scene. With this as their foundation Ram Records has consistently been a platform for the hottest artists and the most incredible music the D&B scene has to offer. In recent times Andy C and Scott Bourne (Red One) have paved the way for new talents to break through, helping to skyrocket the careers of Sub Focus, Chase & Status, Culture Shock, Loadstar, DJ Basher, Wilkinson, Hamilton, Delta Heavy, DC Breaks and many more.
