Lunde Bros. complete a Mutants trilogy with an EP of pure mischievous fun...If dance music were a bird it would undoubtedly be a magpie, filled with a constant desire to pick-up on all thats shiny and new. That being the case look to the skies because the Lunde Bros. are under arial attack! In just two short years the Scandinavian duo (who are genuine brothers by the way) have cut a swathe through the scene like no other; releases on Toolroom, CR2, Rising, House of House, Joia and, of course, Mutants, remixing the likes of Seamus Haji, Reuben Keeney, MYNC and David Tort & Norman Doray have led to the attention and support of titans like David Guetta, Afrojack, Pete Tong, Erick Morillo, Laidback Luke and Roger Sanchez - phew! Now, just as they kick-started John Dahlbacks Mutants with its first release of 2012, they fittingly conclude the year with an almighty festive bang in the guise of Put Em Up, a two track EP of pure, mischievous electro that doesnt just flirt with the naughty list, it damn well demands to be on it voluntarily! Get Down is a pleasing rumbler complete with tribal beats, vocal snippets and a bass line melody that will have a many a speaker shaking (as if winter wasnt enough to deal with!), whilst the title track is a complex fusion of sliding electro FX, mini-breaks and a top line riff so infectious its already been categorised a biohazard! The Put Em Up EP is destined to be an essential part of any musical stocking this Christmas. If it isnt in yours we can only suggest writing a strongly worded letter to Santa asking why; perhaps youre on the naughty list too?!?
