In January Tronic launched an official remix competition via Beatport to find some exciting new talent to update Christian Smith's 2009 release - Indecent Exposure. The competition received but finally our winner emerged as Karl Johan - a young producer who originally hails from Arvika, a small town in Christian Smith's native Sweden, but who now called Oslo, Norway his home. Karl's remix takes the nagging plucked bass loop of Christian's original and works it in to a low-slug tech house groove that retains all the ear-catching drive of the original but places the track into a deeper setting with and smooth pads and gentle rising strings so as to breathe new life into the track just in time for summer.
