Feedbacks: SIS, Matthew Dear, Reboot, Mendo, Robert Dietz, Ekkohaus, Lauhaus, Gel Abril and many more After presenting their first collaboration Kooky on OFF Spin 01 Ex-London-now-Berliner Martin Dawson (aka King Roc, aka one half of Two Armadillos) and OFF head Andre Crom present their first full ep of collaborations. And its quite a debut! Three very diverse tracks, ranging from deep oldschool 90ies-infected loopdisco over modern deephouse to a full-on clubburner. Gonna Be Alright is the latter, a crisp and fat groove topped by some great samples which might trigger some fond memories for lovers of old Hip Hop and Blues tracks. Londons Huxley (Cecille, Tsuba) delivers a deep and toolish interpretation of Gonna Be Alright, perfect for all lovers of linear, hypnotic and stripped-down house music. Temptation is an entirely different affair, one of jazz musics greatest (and most sampled ;-) loops interpreted in a modern disco filter style and garnered with an irresistibly sweet vocal. MDMA in musical shape.Ever Been Loved completes the vinyl in a deep techhouse style with bittersweet vocals, a deep soulful chord theme and a transparent and crisp mixdown.
