Matt Robertson (CAN)

Matt Robertson is a British-born, Canadian-based, Grammy-nominated composer, producer, and musical director. He has released four albums under his own name to date, balancing ambient sound design alongside warm organic techno and ripples of delicate electronics. His warmly received ‘Forecast’ (2013), ‘In Echelon’ (2016) and ‘Entology’ (2018) albums, have been described as “symphonic electronica and leftfield techno that’s cinematic in scale” (Mixmag), “evocative, expansive, and original” (Electronic Sound), “magnificent…wild, electronic sound” (The Line Of Best Fit) and “Nils Frahm’s modern classical meets Jon Hopkins’ grainy techno” (MOJO).
