Norma Lewis

Norma started her singing career on the advice of John Cleese. She worked for his film company and one day, when she was singing in the office, he suggested that she take up singing professionally, which she did, and has certainly had some wonderful experiences since. As a teenager, Norma soon got work. She toured with Imagination at the height of their career, and did backing vocals on their hits. Soon after their world tour, Norma was asked to join Shakatak and was able to draw on the vast experience she had gained on the Imagination tour. Norma recorded the “OUT OF THIS WORLD” LP and went off on a massive tour with Shakatak. She was proud to receive a gold disc for the album whilst on tour in Japan.
