Syntheze

Syntheze is a project created by Caio LaBueno, multimedia artist passionate about art and moved by music. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Caio studied classical guitar and performed in bands that played all kinds of genres, since Samba and Bossa Nova to Punk and Industrial Rock. In 2006, Caio attended his first rave, when he saw Raja Ram, Astrix, Eskimo, Skazi, and fell in love with electronic music and the psychedelic environment. In 2009 he started performing as DJ Gigante and others projects, playing psytrance, techno and chill out at raves, clubs and festivals around Brazil. Syntheze is mainly based on Psychedelic Progressive Trance with its characteristic BPMs and progressions and mesmerizing ARPs, but also with a lot of techno influence in its basslines, drums grooves and melodies.
