The mountains, woods, and fields of northwest Montana (Blackfeet and Salish/Kootenai land) have been home for Josh Schott of Mystic Wolf for most of his life. As a result of a transformational healing journey, he lives as a nomad in Latin America, where he began making music in the mountains on the southern end of the world, in the Andes of Chile (Mapuche land). Hiking and backpacking every corner of his home backyard of Glacier Park and surrounding areas fostered a deep spiritual connection to nature and wildlife.
