Hailing from the city of Chicago, Taihei (born John Paul Reyes) is a music producer and sound designer. Born and raised in the city that pioneered the pop-cultural sounds of Hip-Hop, Rock, and House, the eclectic virtuoso sets out on a mission to tell his story of his dark, yet tranquil world. Driven by his love for electronic music, as well as passion for cyberculture and anime, Taihei's productions transport listeners into futuristic worlds brimming with emotions and vivid imagery. While a newcomer within the music scene, he has already gained support from the likes of Maurice West, W&W, as well has had his music played at festivals such as Ultra Music Festival in Miami, signaling more to come from this uprising talent.
