Sphitzio

With his debut EP in 2012, it is the darker, experimental moniker of the Portuguese producer, Rome-based Jaime Paiva (who also signs as Mechanique). Through mind-bending atmospheres and icy rhythms and percussions, he blends new-age techno to his industrial and darkwave influences of Nitzer Ebb, Front 242 and Cold Meat Industries to his own personal style. Performing as DJ and Live-act as Mechanique, he also runs his label Benthic Recordings.
