NorCal Junkie Aka NAZ was born in Beirut, Lebanon. He spent his early teens in Beirut where he began his music career as a lead guitarist with a local heavy metal band recording in the Rock genre. He enjoyed listening to various music genres and it was around that time where he developed a keen interest in electronic music. In the early 2000s, he moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where he currently resides. San Francisco's nightlife reinforced his obsession with house music and drove him to build his own studio for extensive recording and experimentation.
