Max L

Max L is an artist and writer, who shifted from conservatory studies of philosophy and jazz contrabass toward sound sculpture, video installation, and performance using handmade audio circuitry. He has exhibited and performed in interactive dance and visual art projects, and has worked as a multimedia specialist in museums and schools including the Guggenheim and the United Nations International School. He holds a degree in curatorial practice from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, where he researched the intersection of aural and built environments.
