Mark Reeder

MARK REEDER born in Manchester. Lives in Berlin since 1978, Studied advertising design. Worked at Virgin Record shop in Manchester from 1972-78. Founder member with Mick Hucknall (Simply Red) in The Frantic Elevators. Promoted Joy Division's only Berlin gig. Was Factory Records German Representative. Lived briefly with Nick Cave in the 80s. Managed all-girl band Malaria! Played in Die Unbekannten and Shark Vegas. Co-hosted The Tube - Berlin Special. Organised secret gigs in the Ostblok. Starred in Nekromantik 2 and Todesking. Is the only Westerner to have produced an album in communist East Berlin. Runs label MFS (Masterminded For Success) since 1990. Launched the career of Paul van Dyk amongst many others. Since 2008 he has worked with his studio partner Micha Adam. Has remixed Depeche Mode, New Order, The Pet Shop Boys, John Foxx, Yello, Anne Clark, Blank & Jones, Liars, The KVB, Queen of Hearts,
