'Lucas And St eve' is a DJ/Producer duo unit ed in 2010 consisting of Lucas de Wert and Steven Jansen. Lucas and Steven started their DJ careers at the ages of 12 in Maastricht (The Netherlands). During their teenage years both DJ's got to develop their own sound and performed in more and more clubs in The Netherlands and Belgium. Lucas and Steven met at a DJ contest in a club in which Lucas was one of the resident DJ's and judges. Impressed by Steven's skills behind the decks, Lucas judged Steven to be the winner of that contest. From that moment on Lucas and Steve became friends and started to perform together occasionally. Both DJ's started to produce house music separately at the same time, but it didn't take long for them to join forces together as producers. After having bundled their strengths in music- production, it was just a matter of a few months until they were offered contracts starting a 2 years ago with their debut release at Housepital records. Recently Lucas And Steve released tracks at several record labels like Housepital Recordings, Sneakerz Muzik, GF Recordings'(US), Le Bien et le Mal Rec, etc. with even more to come. The fresh and groovy tech and progressive sounds of Lucas And Steve are already picked up by many of t he big guys in t he business like David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Alex Kenji, Markus Schulz, D.O.N.S, Jesse Voorn, Lucien Foort, Claude Vonstroke, Roger Sanchez, Roog (Hardsoul) and many many more. This is just the beginning!
