KUYA (Mark Calica) has been in the electronic music scene for over a decade - He was previously a guitar player in a band for 4 years. After picking up his first pair of Technics 1200, he began reveling in the opportunity to share his love for dance music and introduced his genre-bending style to wider audiences. He has performed at the hottest venues across NYC including EXIT NYC, Avalon, Spirit, Webster Hall, Pacha NYC, LOVE NYC, and D36, and has played supporting gigs for many well-known artists including DJ Eco, Zack Roth, Solid Stone, Dj Merrit, Ray Roc, George Acosta, Mike Saint-Jules, Kaeno, and M.I.K.E.
