Hangora

The Hangora Project was born in 2013. It brings together the stylistic versatility of two brothers from Marseille and draws musical inspiration from classical, contemporary and avant-garde genres. At the heart of their compositions, is an exploration of musical possibilities and a passion to delve into the potential of a multitude of instruments. Live performances are characterized by haunting and shamanic rhythms which are interspersed with percussion and the distilled sound of the didgeridoo. January 2019, saw the release of their first EP on the Sri Lankan label; Jambutek. Borrowing jazz and traditional rhythms, the electronic compositions incorporate intuitive and well-informed instrumental choices.
