After almost 1 year since its second Various Artist, Room Trax returns with a brand new VA, Isotopic Signature II. Filled with club-focused pieces, ranging from more refined and deeper routes to fully energetic vibes, representing the diversity of sounds on the label and event series. Room co-founder Angioma kicks things off on "Dark Road", delivering a rhythm builder characterised by a blend between tribal, percussive elements and tunnelling atmospherics. Coming in with defined kicks and a rumbling low end, "Running out of time" from rising artist Beatrice rapidly turns into a track certainly influenced by the dub Techno sound, but with a modern twist. Ben Reymann, resident at Room events, contributes to this compilation with the slick groove and modular elements on the driving "Cut Back". The more polished touches on "Gemini" from BLANKA, the other half of Room, make it a perfect hypnotic tone-setter. From Paris, Casual Treatment successfully delivers his sophisticated, enduring atmospheres, debuting on Room Trax with "Discharge". On the element-rich "manantial", Barcelona based Cerrot comes in with his defined strong percussions and varied modular sounds. Now on the second half of this VA, "Shoulders", by Forum, is a proper mind twister with a distinctive vocal loop that sticks into your mind and takes you somewhere else thanks also to the depth of its groove. Returning to the label, Joton supplies a sharp, 'grainy' track with "The Wrong End of a Telescop". Going down into the deeper realms of Techno, "Langzaam" by the mysterious artist Linear System is one for those tension-building moments. True to her sonically 'seductive' vibes, Marsch makes her contribution to this new collection through "Blazing Light". As a wrap-up for the 11-track assortment, the playful "Counting Bits" by Nikolai Vraza is a perfect complement to this latest selection from Room Trax.
