We're very happy to welcome back Iris to the label, this time with a solo EP comprised of four original tracks, alongside a brand new remix. Initially known for her DJ prowess, Iris' discography is now even more impressive than the amount of stamps in her passport, with an album and a fistful of EPs on a list of labels that reads like a who's who of Drum & Bass. So we're very happy to have her grace Guidance once again, and this time with her first ever solo release. The Half Pass EP continues the thread in Iris' work of a love for techno inspired tunes, yet also touches on a range of other bases, drawing on a wide range of influences. '4 faults', steps out on it's acidic riff, whilst her remix of Ill Truth's 'Dada' could roll on for days, bringing a feeling of a certain West London collective from the late 2000s. 'Little To The Left' and 'Air's take on a slightly lighter feel, while 'Light Contact' continues the tech onslaught, it's off kilter rhythm giving a weighty jaunt to proceedings.
