DTX Marks the Spot Vol. II is a retrospective compilation from Discotexas, documenting the last year of releases on the label whilst looking forward to what is coming - introducing new artists (James Flower), including new songs released exclusively on the compilation (including brand new Xinobi track 'Shake & Shimmer' and GPU Panic's 'Rome Avenue'), and previously unreleased tracks (Moullinex & GPU Panic - 'See Me Burn' (Dupplo Remix)).

The compilation features all the artists currently on the Discotexas roster - Moullinex, Xinobi, James Flower, GPU Panic, Da Chick, Diana Oliveira, Madd Rod, Klin Klop and more.

Combined, tracks from the compilation have over 300k plays on all digital platforms.

The focus tracks will be the new tracks:

2. Xinobi - Shake & Shimmer - info and DJ report to follow.

1. GPU Panic - Rome Avenue - DJ report to follow -
GPU Panic returns with new track 'Rome Avenue'. Explaining the creation process, he says - "Recently I created a studio during a retreat at my brother's house and there I spent every day over a couple of weeks just producing without distractions and without leaving home" - The track is representative of an intense trip through this big and busy avenue. Fast pace, high speed, with intense glitches, dance grooves and hypnotic bass lines. It's also GPU Panic going back to his clubbier tracks as he indicates the direction he'll be heading in next.

4. Moullinex & Xinobi - Imaginary Numbers (James Flower Re-imagine) - DJ report to follow -
Discotexas newcomer James Flower re-imagines Moullinex & Xinobi's 'Imaginary Numbers' - a pivotal track on Discotexas' upcoming label compilation and fitting intro into the Discotexas family.
James Flower is the alter ego of Tiago Narciso, a Lisbon based producer and dj. With a passion for electronic music and vibrant melodic atmospheres, James set out to develop a personal and insightful approach to songwriting, creating compelling tracks in a mix between nostalgic and warm textured sounds. His productions and performances are a mixture of contemporary house & melodic techno with a unique touch of ambient music.
He adds of the track: "Imaginary Numbers has one of the most beautiful melodies I've ever heard. I was so obsessed with it that I had to give it a twist".
