Shönja (pronounced Shaun-Jah) sprouted from luscious flora of the pacific northwest of the USA, took a liking to plucking strings and blowing through bamboo sticks and continued his passion creating dance music, he draws inspiration through flutes and strings from his eastern Asian and Indian roots along with modern music.
