Jimmy Right Now

"Berlin-based (via London, Los Angeles and Chicago) producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Deer aka Jimmy Right Now has made a career thus far quietly supporting other artists-whether on stage or in the studio. Signed early on to TVT records with Chicago downtempo/trip-hop group The Baldwin Brothers, he soon found himself deeper in the city’s music scene, contributing his distinctive bass and guitar work to many records by House luminary Roy Davis Jr., including several #1 Billboard Dance remixes. Jimmy’s performance highlights have included a residency at London's 93 Feet East, South by Southwest, Winter Music Conference, Sun City Music Festival’s Beatport stage, the Montreal Jazz Festival, and legendary Tokyo club Yellow. He started Subcutaneous Records in London, 2018, releasing two well-received EPs as Jimmy Right Now before moving to Berlin in 2019.
